Hailing from the mountains of British Columbia, Anna is a multi-instrumentalist artist known for sultry vocals, artistic songwriting and a compelling stage-presence: genre-bending pop, soul and folk into her own sound.

After developing a strong background in classical piano, voice and violin, Anna studied music at Selkirk College and Berklee College of Music, graduating at the top of her class. This instilled in her a love of jazz, fine wine and intricate composition. Since graduation, she has written dozens of songs, collaborated with musicians from around the world, and been featured on many records (incl. Cameron Park, DG Adams, Vinay Lobo, JP Maurice). Most recently, Anna has fallen in love with playing guitar, which is reflected in her upcoming releases. Realizing how male-dominated the music industry is, Anna prioritizes honing her instrumental skills and becoming a mentor for aspiring non-male musicians.

Anna is currently recording her debut EP, to be released in fall 2021. Expect a collection of self-reflective songs, pillowed by a lush sonic landscape, and led by Anna's soulful narrative. Drawing influence from Phoebe Bridgers, Lianne La Havas and Stevie Nicks, vocal intimacy and abundant harmonies will be defining features of the record. Other key musical elements include Rhodes keyboard, driving electric guitar and reverberant percussion.

Anna is also one half of the Indie Folk band Rumour Mill. They have self-produced and released two original EPs, charted in the top 100 of US College Radio, and been licensed by over 13 USA Film & TV networks. They are set to tour eastern Canada and the southern US as soon as things open up.

Anna’s always finding influence for her music whether she’s riding the slopes, backpacking in new countries, exploring other art-forms, or simply wining and dining with the people she loves.
